About Us
Our life is filled with work, play, family and friends. Our life is also filled with trials and challenges some years more difficult than others. All in all, we are thankful for each other to support one another through thick and thin! We especially appreciate a good dose of humor in our life.
We enjoy living in Texas for many reasons. We can visit family in nearby cities, our daughter, parents, siblings, and cousins. Texas is a big wide-open state with many attractions and you can’t beat the cost of living here either. Also we are fortunate there is no state income tax. The weather is great and folks are down home friendly!
We had the opportunity to live in Florida for two years. We absolutely loved living in Cape Coral a wonderful community in Southwest Florida. The sun, the scenery, the water and living was awesome. However, we also experienced two years of hurricanes. We thank God for protecting us and our home and our prayers went out to so many that lost everything. Shortly after John retired, we moved back to Texas to be close to family.
John’s hobbies include photography, graphic design, and creating family history DVDs. He loves to sing and play the guitar and harmonica. He has written several songs and also writes poetry. Sue loves art and home décor especially creating her own floral designs. She enjoys entertaining and cooking for friends and family. John and Sue enjoy socializing with friends, going on dates together, quiet evenings at home, and playing a good round of Scrabble!
